My room had a strong odor, similar to wet dog mixed with cigarettes, making it unpleasant. The bathroom was quite small, making it difficult to move around, and the shower barely had any water pressure. I noticed some cleanliness issues, like stains on the curtains and the overall condition of the armchair. While the motel has a few good points, it definitely needs a thorough cleaning and some updates to improve the overall experience.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Double Room and found it to be clean and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated having a fridge and microwave. The air conditioning worked well with a remote, and the water pressure in the shower was good. The owners were incredibly kind and even fixed my broken outlet right away!
The Wi-Fi signal was weak.

I stayed 2 nights in a Double Room. The room had 3 cozy queen-sized beds and 2 sinks. It also featured a microwave, refrigerator, flat-screen TV, and a shower with good water pressure. The air conditioning worked well with a remote. It was clean, and I slept great, so I'd go back!

It was a suitable option for a temporary stay in Grand Rapids at a decent price. The small TV was nice to have for downtime. Bring some cleaning supplies along just in case.
